Top 10 Best Cafe in Montauk NY

Hampton Coffee Company

Hampton Coffee Company was one of the first Third Wave coffee roasters on the entire East Coast when it opened on the eastern end of Long Island, New York, in 1994.  Our local family-owned community-focused company still adheres to our founding principles of:

  • small-batch hand-roasted craft coffee
  • fresh homemade food (we bake inside every café!)
  • authentic Italian-style espresso beverages prepared by real Baristas
  • treating all of our customers like VIPs
  • treating our staff like family

While The Hamptons are known to many as the summer playground of the rich and famous, it is more than just sun, sand, surf, and celebrities. It is also home to everyone else, from farmers to bankers to coffee people -like us!

Since 1994, Hampton Coffee Company still remains independently-owned, community-focused, and family-run.

We are proud to offer warm and welcoming cafés, a family-friendly atmosphere, and fresh homemade local food.  We are proud members of the Specialty Coffee Association and the Roasters Guild -we are a coffee company first and foremost.  Besides roasting thousands of pounds of coffee beans each week for our own espresso bars & cafés, we also roast coffee for numerous wholesale partners who sell or serve our craft coffee at their establishments.  In fact, if you've eaten in The Hamptons, there's a pretty good chance you've enjoyed our coffee!  Our local coffee and espresso are even served at hospitals, schools, airports, and a baseball stadium.

About Our Coffee

The quality of the green coffee bean is a critical ingredient to the taste of the final product.  Coffee is a product of how it is grown.  Soil conditions, elevation, and climate determine the coffee beans’ final flavor.

At Hampton Coffee Company, we begin with 100% top-grade Arabica Beans from the finest small plantations around the world, some even bought directly from the farmers themselves!  These are the most flavorful coffees because they are grown at a higher altitude where crops grow smaller and more slowly, giving the coffee a more concentrated flavor and aroma.
